抄録	A solution model for liquid binary alloys has been derived, based on the free volume theory considering excess volumes of the alloys. Excess entropy and excess Gibbs energy can be evaluated from the present model using values of enthalpy of mixing and excess volume. In addition, the relationship between enthalpy of mixing and excess entropy in liquid binary alloys has been interpreted based on the present model.
