Creative Commons licenses

  • Creative Commons is a global nonprofit organization which promotes proper dissemination and reuse of content. The term also means their projects.
  • Creative Commons licenses are tools that authors can use to specify the terms of use of their work, as defined by Creative Commons. It is a global initiative to help authors/copyright holders to initially clarify their and user rights as well as the terms of reuse, thereby sparing both the author/copyright holder and the user from the trouble they may have to take.
  • Works and materials in this repository marked with a Creative Commons license may be redistributed and remixed under the terms of the applied license.
