Abstract
To ensure that students improve their health consciousness and change their unhealthy habits, we combined the Sendai Wellness Consortium Genki Checklist(SWCGC) with fitness sports and applied this program on 45 students who attended a physical training class at Osaka University. As a result, significant improvements in satisfaction, behavior, and the functional states of organism were observed in almost all categories of the SWCGC, namely, eating，respiration， sleep, thermoregulation, exercise, mind, sex, and environment. In other words, it was indicated that the combined program of the SWCGC and fitness sports would be effective in promoting students' health consciousness. However, there were a few students who self-checked their lifestyle using the SWCGC on the Web after the completion of the physical training class. It was concluded that health promotion programs for the maintenance of their improved health consciousness should be developed.
