Abstract
This study investigates how Russian journalists expressed about Russian presidential addresses to the Federal Assembly, which were given by Boris Yeltsin, Vladimir Putin and Dormitory Medvedev from 1994 to 2016. Headlines about presidential addresses were not divided among two broadsheets, "Независимая газета"(Nezavisimaya gazeta) and "Известия" (Izvestiya), and two tabloids, "Правда"(Pravda) and "Комсомольская правда"(Komsomolskya pravda). Whereas, headlines were divided into two groups, one group is headlines about Yeltsin's addresses and another group is Putin and Medvedev's addresses. The result of this study shows us that headlines about Russian presidential addresses are not divided by types of the paper, but by the fact about whom journalists wrote in their articles.
