Abstract
グローバル社会において活躍できる素養を身に着ける教育プログラムとして，海外での体験型学習が期待されている．学際融合的な短期海外体験型学習（海外フィールドスタディ）が学生のキャリア形成に与える中長期的効果について検討することを目的とし，大阪大学大学院修了生にインタビュー調査を実施した．海外フィールドスタディを経験した学生は，専門分野を超えたチームワークによって国際社会に通用する多角的な視野を養い，コミュニケーション能力を高め，自分のキャリアにつなげていることが示唆された．大学院を修了した高度専門人材のより積極的なグローバル社会での活躍を促すため，大学院における短期海外体験型学習の教育効果を高めるための工夫や課題の共有が重要である．
Overseas study programs are expected to be the educational programs that will cultivate globally competent human resources. The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of a short-term field study program on their career development. The study carried out interviews with graduates who had participated in the short-term overseas field study program 5 to 8 years ago about their career development since then. The results reveal that, through the experiences of the short-term overseas field study program, the students acquired several skills, including the ability to understand multiple perspectives (based on the inter-disciplinary teamwork), facility communicating in the global setting, and professional leadership. In order to enhance the caliber of global workforce (specifically those with graduate-level education), it is important to share the benefits and challenges of the short-term overseas field study program. This program has the high potential for fostering globally competent human resources .
