Abstract
本稿では，大阪大学と武庫川女子大学の両大学の学生たちがチームを組み，近畿経済産業局主催「開放特許等を活用したビジネスアイデア学生コンテスト」に参加した際の実践を報告する．本取り組みは，大阪大学と武庫川女子大学の間で取り交わされたクロス・アポイントメント制度を利用し，両大学の学生交流を目的の中心として実施された．工学研究科・工学部（大阪大学）と情報メディア学科（武庫川女子大学）といった全く異なる分野を専攻する学生が，それぞれの得意分野を活かし，議題に取組むと同時に交流を深めた．情報メディア学科の学生が世間の動向を収集してアイデアを創出し，工学部・工学研究科の学生がデータ分析等をもとに実現可能性について考察することで，最新の技術を利用し，現代社会のニーズを汲んだ提案となり，結果，審査委員特別賞を受賞した．コンテスト終了後のアンケートから，分野の異なる他大学の学生と協働しながらプロジェクトを進めるなかでの学生の学びや課題が明らかとなった．
This paper reports the practice of students from Osaka University and Mukogawa Women’s University forming teams and participating in the “Student Business Idea Contest Utilizing Open Patents” sponsored by the Kinki Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry. The initiative was carried out mainly for the purpose of fostering student interaction between Osaka University and Mukogawa Women’s University, using a cross-appointment system shared between them. The students belong to unrelated faculties, including the Graduate School of Engineering/Faculty of Engineering (Osaka University) and the Department of Informatics & Mediology (Mukogawa Women’s University). The students majoring in different fields took advantage of their respective knowledge of expertise to complete the agenda and deepen exchanges. The Students in the Department of Informatics and Mediology collected recent societal trends and created flexible ideas, and students in the Graduate School of Engineering/Faculty of Engineering considered the feasibility based on data analysis and utilizing the latest technology. Their proposal was made in response to the needs of modern society, and as a result, they received an award at the project’s conclusion. From the post-contest questionnaire, learning opportunities and challenges that the students faced during the project became apparent.
