Abstract
Optical and ESR properties of Rb doped aromatic cryptand C have been found to be dependent strongly on the preparation and items. In the case of heavily doped sample, two ESR signals having the different g values, g=2.0033, 4.005 appear at the temperature of less than 50 K. The appearance of the ESR signal having g=4.005 is interpreted to be attributed to the charge transfer from Rb atom to cryptand. Low field microwave absorption indicating superconducting phase has not been observed in this cryptand upon Rb doping.
