Abstract
The purpose of this study is to clearfy the effects of trait anxiety on attentional bias and explicit memory. Therefore, this study examined these three factors simultaneously, and the relationship with the concern of the word stimuli for emotional Stroop task. The emotiona1 Stroop task with three types of words (anxiety-related,positive, and neutral words) and explicit memory task (free recall task and recognition task) are administered to 12 universitys students. The participants showed no correlation among trait anxiety and response time of Stroop task with anxiety-related condition,and explicit memory task. Contrary to our prediction, there was no Stroop interference for anxixety-related words. On the free recall task and recognition task, the participants showed no differences by three conditions of recall and recognition (Pr) performance.
