Abstract	本研究では、同性の3者間会話場面において、視線行動が会話者間の印象形成に与える影響を検討した。面識度の低い48人の大学生(男性18人、女性30人)が、互いに親しくなる会話(親密条件)か、社会的問題について議論する会話(討論条件)のいずれかに参加した。視線量が多く、かっ配分のズレが少ない場合に好印象を獲得するという仮説はいずれの印象評定項目においても支持されなかった。しかしながら、討論条件において視線量が多い場合に好意的な印象を獲得する傾向が見られ、均等な視線配分が感じの良いという印象につながることが見出された。また、非言語的表出性が高いほど話題条件にかかわらず視線行動を調節する傾向が見られた。以上の結果に基づき、発話との対応において視線行動の持つ機能を明確にする必要性が議論された。
Abstract	This study investigated the effect of gazing on impressions of interactants in same-sex triadic communications. 48 university students (18 male, 30 female) who were not acquainted with each other participated in either the cozy conversation or the discussion about a social problem. We hypothesized that giving both a larger amount of gaze and the balanced gaze between interactans would lead to receiving favorable impressions, but they were not supported. However, in the discussion condition, a large amount of gaze led to favorable impressions, whereas the balanced gaze correlated positively with pleasant impressions. Furthermore, the balanced gaze had a tendency of receiving positive correlation with ACT, independent of conversation conditions. The importance of conducting future studies on focusing the role of gaze, correspondent with speech pattern was discussed.
