Abstract	臓器移植のもたらす身体の認識に関して、二つの代表的な言説がある。一つは、科学技術の介入による身体の部品化・商品化という側面を強調するもの。もうひとつは、「伝統的」な文化的身体観をそれに対峙するというものである。こうした見方はそれぞれ、技術決定論や文化決定論に基づいた身体認識に由来すると考えられる。本稿では、臓器移植が行なわれる際に取られる匿名性という特殊な制度上の原則に着目し、その制度との関係において、レシピエントが受けとった臓器に対して実際にどのような認識を示しているかを、当事者の語りから分析する。レシピエントの語りに着目することで、(1)レシピエントの身体、(2)受け取った臓器、(3)ドナー家族との匿名の関係性が複雑に絡みあった象徴的な秩序において、移植された臓器が認識されていることを論じる。そして、この象徴的な秩序の獲得が、レシピエントの身体を再構築する日常的実践において果たされていることを明らかにする。臓器移植における身体は、技術的あるいは文化的な観点からは十分に説明し得ない。結論部では、その認識が匿名性のシステムとレシピエントの実践を通じて初めて明らかになることを述べる。
Abstract	In discourse, purporting to explain organ transplantation, there are two major positions, concerning recognition of the body. One position is "technological determinism”, which emphasizes partiality or commodification of the body. The other is "culturalism", which lays emphasis on cultural meaning of the body. In this article I discuss recognition of the body in organ transplantation in terms of what I call "system of anonymity". Also, I examine how recipients actually interpret their received organs in their life-world. By focusing on the system and recipient's narratives, I illustrate the new symbolic order that evolves after transplantation and encompasses in a certain way (1) the body of the recipient, (2) the received organs, and (3) anonymous relationship with the donor family. I show that by grasping this order it is possible to understand the process of reconstructing the body, grounded in everyday practice of the recipients in their life-world. The recognition of the body in organ transplantation cannnot be explained from neither technological nor cultural viewpoint. I conclude that it depends in good part on the system of anonimity and recipient's practice of everyday life.
