Abstract	本論は現状の社会福祉実践の中でスピリチュアリティ、わけてもキリスト教スピリチュアリティがどのような機能を果たしているかを探求するものである。津久井やまゆり園事件で明らかになったように、社会福祉実践現場は利用者への施設内虐待等厳しい荒廃の現実に曝されている。異なるタイプの施設に勤務する3人のクリスチャン障害福祉ソーシャルワーカーの語りが聴取、分析され、結果として仮説的ながら「バッファー」「深化」「規範提供」「エートスの実体化」の諸機能と「シフトワークとのジレンマ」の逆機能が抽出された。
Abstract	This paper attempts to explore functions of spirituality, especially Christian spirituality, in current social work practice. As was revealed in Sagamihara Knife Attack, the field of social work practice faces serious problems such as institutional abuse. The author interviewed three Christian social workers working at different types of facility for the mentally handicapped and analyzed their narratives. The results show hypothetical functions including “buffer,” “making the profound,”“providing norms,” and “activating a professional and organizational ethos,” as well as a “dilemma between shift work and observing spirituality” dysfunction.
